- Been thinking of how I should model characters in games I want to make. I just find segmented models (ex: n64 and psx modeling) to be the best in my case. Plus, I find segmented models to be better in most cases. Like, if I ever wanted to make a game with a character creator. It would be better to have something to switch assets. Such as a human, canid, skeleton, and a feline model.
The human model would be the base model. You can switch textures for the species you want. Heads would be switched. But with the skeleton, a lot of the parts would need to be switched out depending on the complexity of the model. Hands and feet would stay the same, just a texture switch. The head would probably be a human head with small edits.
I just find it fascinating and love these kinds of models. You don’t need to worry about elbow polygon jank and just the jank and absurd necessity of high-poly single model characters sometimes. Which I get and like them aswell. But for small dev teams and whatnot, you can get a lot of mileage out of reusing small models that come together for a larger one like puzzle pieces.

- Way too many things I want to do... Ranging from games to comics. It’s overwhelming and turns into a lot of wishful thinking. Thus, figuring out that I’m simply not cut out for coding. I have a far better time designing layouts, making models and textures. Then there’s writing stories and whatnot. Being able to jot things down has helped a lot since it’s very hard to write things down for me. As I’m someone who’s mind is chaotic with a story I’ve had in my head for a long time, making it difficult to write a lot down. You’d think I can write things down if I have my ducks in a row? I mean, they are in a row. Like 50 ft apart from each other and they avoid me and teleport around. My brain just fries itself sometimes…

- You know, sometimes I have those thoughts of making my own game review site. As most gaming journalists (or at least the companies) don't have a backbone and fall in line with what their subsidiary wants. As an inspiring game dev and story writer, it just hurts to see people getting attacked just because they don't want to bend the knee to the mainstream's narratives and what they want.
I want nothing more than to make games and write storys both for myself and others to enjoy. Any creative would whant that and keep it to their vision as close as possible. Even I know that my own is rough around the edges. But I don't want to sand the edges down, I want to keep those edges.

- On a side note, nice job Highguard for falling off like a brick from the top of a skyscraper and shattering like glass on the asphalt.

- Finaly getting around to making my own area on the site. Orignaly didn't intind on making it about me spesificaly. But I guess putting things down like this won't be a bad idea.
I'll fancy this stuff up eventualy. But when that time comes, I'll do a overhall/redo a lot of the code when I can.
